162 open tenders, 183 million manats, five days — where the next deadline cluster sits

AZTender's data cut of 28 September 2026 lists 162 open tenders closing 28 September–3 October 2026, worth 182,995,053.60 AZN; CPV division 72 (IT/professional services) leads by count and value, though one tender is 77% of that value.

AZTender's data cut of 28 September 2026 (03:16 UTC) shows 162 open tenders on Azerbaijan's state procurement portal (etender.gov.az) with submission deadlines in the five days from 28 September to 3 October 2026, carrying a combined estimated value of 182,995,053.60 AZN (≈183.0m AZN). Grouped by CPV division, division 72 — IT and professional services — leads by both count and value, with 34 tenders worth 114,021,027.00 AZN.

The numbers

Item Value
Open tenders, deadlines 28 September–3 October 2026 162
Combined estimated value 182,995,053.60 AZN
CPV division 72 (IT/professional services), by count and value 34 tenders, 114,021,027.00 AZN
One tender inside division 72 — Bərgüşadçay reservoir pipeline, tender No. 357212 87,832,935.38 AZN, 77% of division 72's total
CPV division 10 3 tenders, 13,292,316.86 AZN
CPV division 51 3 tenders, 11,832,145.68 AZN

What the number is not

The 162 figure counts open announcements with a near-term deadline, not awards, signed contracts or money spent — none of the 162 has a winner yet. CPV codes are free text in the registry, so only two-digit division grouping is usable, and division labels are indicative rather than verified official titles. Deadline timestamps run roughly four hours ahead of true Baku time, so "closes in N days" is approximate. Security and law-enforcement buyers under the site's standing exclusion list were filtered out before aggregating, so the true registry total is higher than shown here. Division 72's total is also weighted by a single water-infrastructure listing — the Bərgüşadçay reservoir pipeline tender at the Directorate of Facilities Under Construction ("Tikilməkdə Olan Obyektlərin Müdiriyyəti" Publik Hüquqi Şəxsi), a buyer whose other water tenders this site covered on 26 September — which alone accounts for 77% of the division's value.

Why it is a signal

  • Why does one division — IT and professional services — carry more value than any other in this window?
  • Excluding the Bərgüşadçay line item, do the remaining division-72 tenders still stand out?
  • How many of the 162 open tenders convert into signed, executed contracts?
  • Does division 72 keep leading the cluster in the following five-day window?

What AZTender shows

AZTender's tender-matching module tracks open announcements by CPV division and deadline, so a bidder can see this week's full window — 162 listings — on one screen rather than checking each etender.gov.az notice individually. The same module flags the deadline-offset issue on every row, and its entity-report view lets a reviewer isolate one buyer's listing from the rest of its division. More detail is at aztender.ai.

A signal is not a verdict. A concentration of deadlines and value inside one CPV division is an ordinary feature of a public procurement register, and no conclusion about any buyer, sector or supplier is drawn here.
