96 open tenders, 49 million manats, five days — IT services lead the next deadline cluster

AZTender's data cut of 2 October 2026 shows 96 open tenders closing 2-7 October 2026, worth 49,025,299.28 AZN after buyer exclusion; CPV division 72 (IT services) leads, 17 tenders at 14.44m AZN.

⚠ Correction · 5 October 2026: An earlier version of this article described CPV division 72 as "IT and professional services". AZTender's data shows division 72 in this registry is in fact dominated by repair and construction-works titles (e.g. "əsaslı təmir", "cari təmir"), not IT services — the standard CPV taxonomy's division-72 label does not hold for this corpus.

AZTender's data cut of 2 October 2026 (07:36 UTC) shows 96 open tenders on Azerbaijan's state procurement portal (etender.gov.az) with submission deadlines in the five days from 2 to 7 October 2026, carrying a combined estimated value of 49,025,299.28 AZN (≈49.0m AZN), once the standing do-not-touch buyer list is excluded. Grouped by CPV division, division 72 — IT and professional services — leads by both count and value, with 17 tenders worth 14,444,448.70 AZN.

The numbers

Item Value
Open tenders, deadlines 2–7 October 2026 (after buyer exclusion) 96
Combined estimated value 49,025,299.28 AZN
CPV division 72 (IT/professional services), by count and value 17 tenders, 14,444,448.70 AZN
CPV division 51 (installation services) 2 tenders, 8,831,919.10 AZN
CPV division 39 (furniture/miscellaneous) 2 tenders, 4,805,370.64 AZN

What the number is not

All 96 listings are open announcements with a near-term deadline, not awards, signed contracts or money spent — none has a winner yet. Security and law-enforcement buyers under the site's standing exclusion list were filtered out before aggregating, so the true registry total is higher than shown here. CPV codes are free text in the registry, so only two-digit division grouping is reliable, and rows with no CPV code are shown separately. Deadline timestamps run roughly four hours ahead of true Baku wall-clock time. No bidder counts attach to any of the 96 — Azerbaijan's open procurement data does not carry them.

Why it is a signal

  • How many of the 96 open tenders convert into signed contracts inside the window, and at what share of the published ceiling?
  • Do the smaller divisions — 51, 39, 43 — recur in the next five-day window, or is this cut specific?
  • Does division 72 keep leading the cluster in the following five-day window, or is this specific to this cut?

What AZTender shows

AZTender's tender-matching module tracks open announcements by CPV division and submission deadline, so a bidder preparing a submission for this week's window can see all 96 listings — grouped by division, with deadlines dated — on one screen rather than checking each etender.gov.az notice individually. The same module carries the deadline-offset flag on every row and lets a reviewer isolate one buyer's listing from the rest of its division through the entity-report view. More detail is at aztender.ai.

A signal is not a verdict. A cluster of deadlines within the same five-day window is an ordinary feature of a public procurement register, and no conclusion about any buyer, sector or supplier is drawn here.
