112 tenders, 138.8 million manats, five days — a deadline cluster in Azerbaijan's open-tender register

AZTender's data cut of 15 September 2026 lists 112 open tenders closing between 15 and 20 September, worth 138,804,437.44 AZN combined; construction machinery and IT services lead by value.

AZTender's data cut of 15 September 2026 shows 112 open tenders on Azerbaijan's state procurement portal (etender.gov.az) with submission deadlines falling between 15 and 20 September 2026, carrying a combined estimated value of 138,804,437.44 AZN (≈138.8m AZN). Grouped by CPV division, the two largest slices in this window are division 43, construction and mining machinery (7 tenders, 48,678,993.69 AZN), and division 72, IT services (13 tenders, 30,304,943.20 AZN).

The numbers

Item Value
Open tenders, deadlines 15–20 September 2026 112
Combined estimated value 138,804,437.44 AZN
CPV division 43 (construction/mining machinery) 7 tenders, 48,678,993.69 AZN
CPV division 72 (IT services) 13 tenders, 30,304,943.20 AZN
CPV division 46 6 tenders, 10,776,787.47 AZN
Tenders with no CPV code recorded 7 tenders, 1,377,320.78 AZN

What the number is not

The 138.8 million figure is the sum of estimated, ceiling values on open announcements that have not yet closed — not awards, not signed contracts and not money spent. Submission-deadline timestamps on announcement rows carry a documented four-hour offset, so the true Baku closing time for any single tender may run several hours earlier than the registry display suggests; "days left" figures are approximate on that basis. The CPV breakdown covers only the subset of the 112 tenders where a classification code is present in the registry — AZ procurement data carries a CPV code on a minority of rows overall — so the by-division totals describe a classified portion of the cluster, not its full composition.

Why it is a signal

  • How many of the 112 tenders share the same procuring entity, and does that reflect an ordinary annual purchasing cycle rather than a coincidence of timing?
  • What is driving the weighting toward construction machinery and IT services in this particular five-day window compared with other CPV divisions?
  • Which of the unclassified tenders would fall into division 43 or 72 once a CPV code is confirmed?
  • How many of these 112 open announcements convert into signed contracts, and on what timeline?
  • Do bid volumes and pricing differ between the machinery and IT-services clusters once results are published?

What AZTender shows

AZTender's tender-matching module tracks open announcements by CPV division and submission deadline, so a bidder preparing for the construction-machinery or IT-services window can see the full five-day cluster on one screen rather than checking each registry page separately. The same module flags rows with no CPV code recorded, so a reviewer knows which division totals are provisional pending manual classification. More detail is at aztender.ai.

A signal is not a verdict. A cluster of deadlines within the same calendar week is an ordinary feature of a public procurement register, and no conclusion about any buyer, sector or supplier is drawn here.
